I've been there.
Gaining 150 pounds to become a professional strongman.
Losing 100 pounds to compete as an amateur boxer.
Training for performance and joining the military.
I've learned an incredible amount both through my own experiences, mentoring with some of the world's best coaches and strength athletes and coaching some of the world's top athletes in a variety of sports. Through it all I've learned what works, what doesn't and most of all I've learned that the people who helped me the most didn't help just because I paid them (and sometimes they didn't even want the money!), they didn't help me because it was just their "job" and they didn't help me for recognition - they helped me because they love what they do.
In this in spirit and with this intention that I created this website to do as much as I can to help people just like you.
I've been incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some incredible athletes over my career thus far. These athletes include:
- World Boxing Champions
- Olympic Athletes
- Miss Olympia Competitors
- MMA World Champions
- University Teams
- National Champions in Boxing, Track and Field, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, MMA
The most significant influences on my development as a coach have been my time learning from Louie Simmons at Westside Barbell, my time staying with 3x World's Strongest Man Bill Kazmaier in Alaska and the years I was coached by Josh Bryant.
These three men have given me more than I'll ever be able to repay and not a day goes by that I don't benefit from the knowledge they shared with me.
I hold certifications with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) in both Strength and Conditioning as well as Sports Nutrition.
